Why the instruments exist — in my own words
These are not SEO articles. They are field notes from building Oneirox: decisions I made, books that changed a formula, and mechanisms I refuse to soft-pedal. I update this section as the lab grows.
How to read Lab Notes
I am Vigen G.R. I write here when an instrument exists because a night in my own body would not fit a dictionary. Notes 01–04 are the spine: refuse omen tables; plan ultradian cycles instead of blaming personality; let fifty books collapse into SIGNAL · BODY · MORNING; treat Ararat and kinship place-cues as memory under attachment, not Noah prophecy.
If you need a tool tonight, skip the essay and open Lab: Lab Search, Sleep Cycles, Sensory Dream Mapper, Dream Phase Calculator. If you need the rule behind the tool, stay. Notes are short on purpose — they are not a blog farm. Each one must change how you use an instrument or it does not publish.
What you will not find: “top 10 dream symbols,” affiliate sleep gadgets, or AI-generated folklore. What you will find: first-person lab decisions, named papers, and links into /dreams, /somatic, and /mechanics/rem. If a note ever starts padding for keywords, I will delete it the way I delete thin PSEO rows.
Four doors from this hub: refuse dictionaries, why Cycles exists, what the books changed in Decode, Ararat through the body. I am Vigen. If you only read one, read the dictionary refusal — every other instrument hangs on that rule.
Lab Notes are dated, signed, and few. I will not open a fifth note to chase a keyword. When a new instrument ships (Mapper, Cycles, Phase, a dense somatic batch), I write the decision, not a recap of the UI. If you came here from Google looking for “dream meanings,” the library is /dreams; this hub is the founder layer behind it.
What I keep off this hub on purpose
I will not list every /dreams slug here. I will not recap N1 theta vs N3 delta vs REM atonia — those live in somatic phase hubs and REM mechanics. Notes exist so you can hear the person who built the instruments: Vigen G.R., independent researcher, writing when a night in my body would not fit a dictionary. If that voice ever turns into a content calendar, delete this URL.

Why I refuse symbol dictionaries
Five years of reading sleep science taught me one hard rule: if a tool starts with “snake means…”, it has already abandoned the brain. Here is the premise Oneirox will not compromise.
Why I built the Sleep Cycle Calculator
Sleep inertia is not a personality flaw — it is an interrupted ultradian cycle. How ~90-minute math became a free Lab instrument with no API and no login.
What fifty books actually changed in Decode
Not a reading list for show. How Walker, Damasio, Revonsuo, and others became SIGNAL · BODY · MORNING — one committed reading instead of five vague meanings.
Why Oneirox explains Ararat dreams through the body, not omens
Homeland peaks load as place memory under attachment — not Noah prophecy. A Lab Note from the diaspora on why culture is scene material and neurobiology is the question.
